Radio Galactica #01

Join us for an experimental, hands-on workshop, where we bring the iconic Nintendo WiiMote back to life.
During the workshop, we will explore how to reactivate older gaming hardware through the principles of permacomputing. 

Our focus will be the Nintendo Wii, for which we will collectively create a homebrew video game that can be played on original hardware.The content of the game will centre on the imagined lives of Mii characters left behind when old Wii consoles are discarded. Through drawing, writing, storytelling, and game design, we will explore these abended digital characters.

No coding experience is required. Please bring a laptop and/or any materials you like to work with, such as a notebook, pencils, paint, or any medium you feel comfortable using to create images and ideas. If you own a Nintendo Wii and bring it along, we will show you how to hack the console so it can run homebrew games.

Transmission: a cosmic horror Zoom-based LARP

1987, Norfolk, England. A group of friends on holiday together are cut off from the world when a violent storm causes a blackout.A series of teletext broadcasts become their only connection to the outside world. But such broadcasts shouldn't even be possible during a blackout and they are getting increasingly personal...Something is dying to communicate.
