WHAT IS COLLIDERS?
COLLIDERS is our monthly meet-up for playful makers, welcoming any creative, regardless of the engine they are working in. At Colliders we brainstorm, present our progress, give feedback, enjoy creations and, of course, we play!
Colliders purpose is to develop a local network around indie/arthouse game makers and playful artists. With Colliders, we want to support each other and create more opportunities for collaborations and exchange. The meet ups are open to makers, enthusiasts, producers, artists, curators, and all people interested in game making.
COLLIDERS IN MAY
This time we will showcase games that play around our perception through visual artifacts, mess around with our sense of scale and confuse us. From retro experimentation with 3D glasses like Rad Racer to games defying Euclidean geometry like Antichamber or the puzzle game Viewfinder.
For the talks, we will have the presentation from The Tweeduuster Projects, a game that aims to revive and preserve local myths and folklore from the area of Twente.
We still have one open screen for people who want to showcase their project and one spot to present - it does not need to be related to the topic of the month. Register here to let us know you are coming, if you would like to present and/or if you want to receive our newsletter!
