Kamping Kitbash is a movement dedicated to bringing people together through tabletop hobbies. Our goal is to unite enthusiasts worldwide, infusing the hobby with a fresh artistic spirit and fostering collaboration to create a vibrant and diverse community. 🌍

We organize events focused on kitbashing, miniature making, RPGs, and tabletop games, with a special emphasis on indie games and supporting grassroots initiatives. 🎮🤝

Furthermore, we want to dig deeper into the possibilities of what gaming and art can do and mean for us as people. 🎲 We want to ask interesting questions and create around the themes of identity to find a more powerful way of expressing ourselves collaboratively.

Our first project, a collaboration between Nerdlab (Ghent) and Sickhouse (Enschede), has been successfully funded by Erasmus+.

The first weekend of this collaboration was in Ghent, in September 13-15, where kitbashers explored new ways of making miniatures and exchanged ideas and techniques in an exciting and welcoming environment. It was three days full of games and collaborative projects between creators and hobbyists.

During the second weekend of Kamping Kitbash, Sickhouse will build upon the amazing creations made during the first weekend in Ghent.  This weekend, we’ll dive into different ways of playing TTRPGs, role-playing, and building worlds. 🎭

Join us and play alongside creatives, TTRPG fans, and game makers from all across Europe. Together, we’ll explore what role-playing means to us and how we can expand on this through gaming. 🎮

Tabletop Game Night

Join us for an evening of intrigue and creativity in 

 designed for beginner LARPers. Set in Sickhoes, the atmospheric old barn at the Rijksmuseum Twenthe. This event combines social interaction, light puzzles, and a captivating medieval fantasy setting. With no combat involved, players will focus on storytelling and solving the mystery of a cursed Fae amulet.

Prewritten Characters: Players sign up as either a Fae or human and receive characters based on their preferences.

Intriguing Storyline: A cursed alchemist calls upon travelers and enigmatic Fae to rid him of the amulet's curse.

Social Puzzles & Interaction: Work together to solve an alchemy puzzle and decide the fate of the amulet.

No Combat: The focus is on mystery, roleplay, and negotiation.

Costumes & Props: Medieval costumes and decorations provided by Stichting Fabel (or bring your own!).

22:30: Game end, followed by an aftertalk

Open to players aged 18+, with a focus on fun, creativity, and emotional safety. Costumes, props, and guidance provided for a fully immersive experience!
