Feminist Queer Market
On the initiative of Sam Valenzuela, The Queer Feminist Market is an event build around intersectional resistance, to showcase feminist and queer creators in a space that fosters community.
The market is a space for anyone fighting gender-based oppression, whether you identify as a woman, a trans person, non binary or any other gender-nonconforming / dissidence. Feminist struggles intersect with queer struggles, and many participants embody both. We explicitly welcome trans, non‑binary, and LGBTQ+ voices that also advocate feminism.
With illustrations, jewelry, collages, workshops, music, films, food and more… The market is open from 15:00 to 21:00 and is part of the International Women Day’s program spread over Enschede. (see the rest of the programs here : https://enschedefeminists.nl)
