Maggie - SoundUnbound Collab

Together with Sound Unbound we invite you to discover the wonderful sounds of Maggie. Join us for an evening of experimental noise/drone created with a modified violin. Lena C. comes for support for a magical and transporting moment.

Maggie Khorrami is an experimental musician, sound artist, and sound engineer based in the Netherlands. From her background in classical violin and fine art, she found her way into expanded sonic approaches as part of the Sonology course at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. She utilities electro-acoustic methods – including her custom-built electric violin – to generate bristling, layered electronic textures. Her noise-filled sound works emerge from the flux and chaos of the world.

Lena C. is a Taiwanese sound artist based in Enschede, Netherlands. She explores sound and interdisciplinary art through artistic research as well as live performance and free improvisation in electronic music, composition for visual art and installations. Her research interests revolve around themes of relationality between individuals and natural phenomena, posthumanism, and the influence of technology and media on human experience.
