Sickhouse & The FemDem joined forces for females who have the ambition to DJ! On Saturday the 18th of Feb we will help you make your first moves behind the decks. We invited AMPFEMININE collective over for a DJ workshop and afterwards we move to the cinema to watch the collectives documentary 'EQ the Industry’.

Deborah X of AMPFEMININE will help you make your first steps into DJ’ing. It will be a fun experience aimed to get you acquainted with the gear. The workshop is organized for women participants only! And thanks to the support of the generators funds the entrance is for free! We have space for 8 people. 


Is a documentary powered by AMPFEMININE presenting the producers of the collective and their experience in the music industry. The film aims to inspire women and to give men from the sector more knowledge and insight into the barriers women experience within the electronic music scene. EQ the Industry is OTA, Open To All gender. So feel free to invite all your friends & fam over!

After the viewing we will host an after-talk together with Deborah X, Gill Bollegraf, and Simone Dekker to help us animate the discussion about gender in the music industry.

AMPFEMININE is a diverse collective based in Rotterdam with the aim of creating more opportunities for women and minorities in nightlife, as well as events that are safer spaces for everyone.

SickFem Ampfeminine

 are discussion and embroidery sessions to discuss social and womxn related matter while creating a collective meditative work. Embroidery is the craft of decorating fabric or other materials using a needle to apply thread or yarn. But embroidery is also a meditative practice that can carry political meaning.

 to lead a discussion about the participation of womxn in the environmental movement.

Stitching to Resist

Sickhouse will open its door on the 17 of February for a second edition of D&D and TTRPG sessions. We welcome groups of solo players. We are making sure we have a few DM to host open tables. 

INSTRUCTION FOR THE 17-02 : Everyone is welcome, confirmed players and beginners, groups or solo. The important thing is to register. Each table will welcome a maximum of 4 or 5 players. You need to bring your own pawn/token (that can be anything :) and your dice if you have some (we'll have extra sets available).

We would like to ask for a collective fee per table. It will be define by dice and will be between 5 to 10€/table. This money support Sickhouse in paying its rent and its employees :)
