This summer there will be no pause, so get ready Enschede, because our Summer Clinic at the Vestzaktheatre is starting on Friday 26th with a 

: cocktails, music by Vanity b2b Glenn, Grens, Hristof ( T-Lab) and all the summer fun.

From the 26th of August until the 1st of September we will have activities every weekend. Check the programme and save the date!
(Some events are not set yet, so stay tuned for updates).


On Thursdays we will open from 19:00 to 00:00 with some games, music, good drinks and good company.


 with Elektortek (Utrecht) and Drusnoise (Berlin).
Doors open at 19:00 and the program starts at 19:30 with a presentation of the set-up followed by a jam. Entrance on donation.


On Fridays we will have playful programmes in pure Sickhouse style starting at 19:00. On 

 it's Quiztime with Niels, a very fun gameshow. On 

 it's Silly Disco night to show your best dance moves and sing some karaoke songs. And on 

 the amazing Jana Romanova is coming to role-play with us!


We will have a screening every Saturday of daring, irreverent and cult films. Starting 

 July with a Drive-in Cinema at Studio Complex; featuring the second showing of Sick&Sexy on

of August and also including another fantastic 

, this time headed by Louisa Teichmann (Rotterdam).


Sundays will be SickFem Open Decks, the collaboration between FemDem and Sickhouse to invite all women to take control, learn and practice to become DJs.
Every Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00. Hosted by KAR!N, LUW, Obsidian and of course Vanity Roxane.

Sickhouse Summer Clinic

Our Summer Film Camp is a fun, two weeks program, welcoming young and curious minds to the world of filmmaking. It will be experimental, collective, DIY and full of practice!


, if you want to learn in a playful way how to tell stories, if you like to work together with a team, and if you are into getting new skills!

WEEK 1 : Workshops week. 22-07 to 26-07
Learn with professionals, how to write a story, create a story board, use a professional camera and use the lights, act, improvise, create a set ...


WEEK2: Make a film together 29-07 to 2-08
With the group you will make a short film from scratch, from acting to filming to editing, you are responsible of everything! With zero budget, a mentor and a technical coach.

Summer Film Camp

Join the last session of the season of Stitching to Resist!

is a project to explore textiles as a form of artistic expression and political resistance.

We gather once per month to talk about social issues that deserve our attention. We learn new perspectives, skills, and stitch together towards a collaborative piece. 

Between April and July of 2024 we will have four sessions oriented to create a collective canvas, from the idea to the final stitch.

Sessions will happen on April 18th, May 15th, June 19th and July 24th, from 18:30 to 21:00.
