The Plastic Dictator

"Klein Blau will show ‘The Plastic Dictator’ for the first time at Sickhouse on Saturday July 8th!

‘An old man sits in his chair, surrounded by the trash that is being washed upon the shores, day after day for decades now. Looking at his old plastic toy tractor he ponders about the past: How on earth did we end up here?’

‘The Plastic Dictator’ tells the tale of how plastic became a household name and went from universally praised miracle material to a curse for the planet within 60 years. How could humanity have let it come this far?

Klein Blau is a Dutch-Ukrainian collective of makers, based in The Netherlands and Germany, formed around the wish to create a multi disciplinary piece together. The performance will bring a mix of theatre, visual art and music to the table."
