Join a team of painters on their journey to capture landscapes "en plein air" in this tabletop role play game, specially created for this collaboration of Sickhouse with the Rijksmuseum Twenthe.

As a group of aspiring artists, you will explore a series of landscapes painted in open air. During the game, you will each take a turn painting a scene while exploring a specific question or theme, then you will play out a short story within the created landscape to form a scene. You cannot lose this game; the goal is to create a story together!

This event is the first of many collaborations to come between the Rijksmuseum Twenthe and the Sickhouse Tabletop Tour. Our regular sessions, workshops, and special events are back and we hope you once again join us to delve into all sorts of adventures!

The tables will be located in Sickhoes, the farmhouse in the back garden of the Rijksmuseum, and in the atelier room as well.

This game was created by Linda Poppe, a Dutch software developer and tabletop RPG enthusiast residing in Enschede. She is an organisation member of and (co-)writer for the TTRPG event and community Enschedend (see Her stories often feature primeval nature and fantastical characters.
